Wendy Centeno (she/her) is founder, community chef, and cooking instructor with Guayaba Kitchen. She is a mom and partner from the Northeast San Fernando Valley, with over 12 years of experience in sharing and creating recipes that reflect her identity as first generation Xicana.
Guayaba Kitchen was born out of a need for more plant based foods as medicine in Pacoima and its surrounding communities. Guayaba Kitchen aims to create recipes and curriculums with special emphasis on culturally relevant foods and ingredients while also addressing the benefits of a plant heavy menu and traditional foodways.
