Daniela Isabella Juarez (she/her) is Tia Chucha’s 2024-2025 Macro Social Work Intern. She is currently in the process of obtaining her Master’s of Social Work in an online program under Grand Canyon University. In 2020, she received a Bachelor of Arts in Chicano/a Studies and a Bachelor of Sciences in Family Studies from California State University, Northridge. She became familiar with Tia Chucha’s after having the opportunity to showcase her artwork at Tia Chucha’s 2022 Viva la Femme! Hearts and Hand Mercadito. As a current Library Aide for LAUSD and an artist on the side, Daniela hopes to dedicate herself as an MSW Intern to Tia Chucha’s by utilizing her time, skills, knowledge to be able provide resources for youth and families in her community to have accessibility to literacy, the arts, and transformative healing.
